Refugio Canyon Ranch – Location: Goleta, California

Purpose of Test: Increase crop yield by helping the suppression of Phytophthora spp. Disease complexes and mitigate excessive soil sodium.
Humega™ was added to a conventional fertilizer program.

Results: Yield was increased by over 4,600 pounds per acre. Disease suppression and sodium mitigation was achieved. During the trial commonly applied amounts of chemical fertilizers were reduced.

BANANAS

Molina Plantations – Location: Guatemala, C.A.

Purpose of Test: Could Humega™ increase harvestable amounts and reduce fertilizer application rates.

Results: Harvest weight increase of 14% to 22%, cull reduction of 30%, fertilizer reduction of over 400%, profit to cost ratio increased 10:1.

Glen Marcek Farms – Location: Midkiff, Texas

Purpose of Test: Would BioFlora products make a difference in production in either conventional or organic cotton.

Results: Conventional yields increased over 520 pounds per acre and the certified organic yields increased 300 pounds per acre.

LEMONS

Rancho Dos Padres – Location: Santa Barbara, California

Purpose of Test: New trees were having a difficult time getting established in hard, rocky soil that was high in salts and chemical fertilizer residues.

Testing Humega™ to see if it could help establish the new trees.

Results: New trees produced one year earlier, 20% increase in production, and a packing house rating of 90% fruit and 10% juice.

PALM TREES

PT Green Planet – Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Purpose of Test: Testing whether Humega™ can be used to improve production of palm oil on marginal land.

Results: Palm trees had 22% greater frond length, 16% more bunches, 58% increase in bunch weight and produce 24% more oil.

POTATOES

BioFlora Mexico – Location: Los Mochis, Mexico

Purpose of Test: Study the effects of Humega™ added to conventional potato program.

Results: A 352 pound per acre increase in yield and an increase in profit of over $560 per acre.

RICE (101 VARIETY)

Baldridge Farms – Location: Firebaugh, California

Purpose of Test: Testing Humega™ effects on Sweet Rice production.

Results: Rice had less lodging; crop could stay in fields longer; yield was eight extra 100 pound bags of field rice per acre. Larger grains per panicle.

DURHAM WHEAT

Green Acres Farm – Location: Buckeye, Arizona

Purpose of Test: Ground and water contains high sodium levels at over 1,500 ppm.
Testing to see if Humega™ can help overcome sodium damage to produce a marketable organic wheat crop.

Results: Increase in protein from 12% to 14.7%; weight increase from 51 lbs. per bushel to over 59 lbs. per bushel.

VARIOUS TABLE GRAPES

Table Grape Grower – Location: Delano, California

Purpose of Test: Grower wanted to try adding Fulvex™ and BioFlora Seaweed Creme™ to table grapes to finish for the crop of color and raise Brix levels; added BioFlora™ Calcium 6% to increase shelf life.

Results: Normal yield was 600 to 800 boxes per acre. Humega™ at 10 gallons per acre and Fulvex™ and BioFlora Seaweed Creme™ at 1 quart each per acre applied three times before harvest resulted in over 900 to 1,000 boxes per acre. Brix levels rose two points and fruit had longer shelf life.
