Global
Organics, LLC is the world's largest manufacturer
of organic plant foods and soil conditioners. Marketed as
The Bioflora System, the company produces over 400
formulations for application to virtually all crops in all
climates in both hemispheres.
Unlike
traditional chemical fertilization practices which focus
on the short term needs of all growing plants, the aim of
the Bioflora System is to provide a healthy long
term equilibrium between the plant and its host soil. This
is achieved by first identifying the nutritional and biological
needs of both plant and soil and then supplying and maintaining
a healthy balance of organic matter, microbial systems,
and plant nutrition. Traditional chemical fertilizers rob
the soil of natural fertility and biological balance which
in turn create residual contamination in both soil and groundwater.
As biological balance disappears, increased chemical application
rates are required with each planting to achieve the same
yield. Not so with the Bioflora System which revitalizes
and sustains natural biological systems thus producing long
term healthy soil with resultant higher quality and yield.
Further, the Bioflora System employs proprietary
foliar feed formulations and practices which markedly accelerate
growth and maximize yield even while the system is about
the longer term task of revitalizing soil.

While
the ecological benefits of long term sustainable soil health
are obvious, the immediate cost benefits of The Bioflora
System may be summarized as follows:
1.
If the System is used as the sole source of fertility in
a totally organic program, the cost will not exceed and
is usually less than the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers
and plant foods. Crop yield usually increases with each
successive planting (with no increase in product use) and
crop quality has historically been deemed superior.
| 2.
If the System is used in conjunction with chemical fertilizers
in a "sustainable" program, the use of chemicals can
be sharply reduced due to the System's ability to maximize
available nutrient uptake. As in the case above, crop
yield usually increases with each successive planting
and crop quality is consistently deemed superior. |
The range of crops positively impacted by The Bioflora
System on an annual basis include, but are not
limited to, grapes, bananas, rice, wheat, barley, alfalfa,
tomatoes, strawberries, peanuts, potatoes, corn, chiles,
citrus fruits, rubber trees, coffee, sugar cane, lettuce,
carrots, and melons, Contact with individual growers
of each of these crops may be initiated through Global
Organics, LLC.
